Rakesh is HR professional with over 26 years experience from the industry. He is Director of Institute of HR Research and Strategy. Before this he was Vice-president – Corporate HR with Maral Overseas and BMD Ltd. (Part of LNJ Bhilwara Group) and he has worked with some of the large Business Houses such as TATA group, Shriram Group, Thapar Group, Anand Group, ACC Group and FORE School of Management.

He has been a visiting faculty to some of the well-known Business Schools for last 14 years. He has taught at IIFT, IMT, Bim-Tech, FORE, Jamia Millia, Asia Pacific and many other Business Schools in Delhi to full time and working managers group. His areas of interests are Strategic Management, Business Communication, HRM/Organizational Behavior and Entrepreneurship; He has also been Placement Advisor to Business Schools.
He is also a Corporate Trainer and Trained Managers of ONGC, Samsung, Grasim Industries, Everest Industries and many other companies. He also writes and is a regular contributor in HT Careers.
He has completed one year Business Leaders Program from IIM Calcutta and holds a Post - Graduate diploma in Administrative Management from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University. He also has advanced diploma in Personnel Management and Training and Development. In addition He has Masters in Sociology and graduated from Delhi University. |
